About Us

Founded in 2007 and currently in our seventeenth season, the New York Sky Blues are the oldest and largest Manchester City Official Supporters Club branch in North America.

Prior to formation of the club in the summer of 2007, fans of Manchester City in New York and beyond had been loosely connected since the early 1990s. The founding of the club as a branch of the Official Supporters Club was done in order for fans to dig deeper roots in the States, to provide an official presence and structure, to promote awareness of Manchester City to the public, and to offer City supporters better opportunities to communicate with each other and to come together around the football club.

We would soon find a home at The Mad Hatter in Kips Bay. Thanks to an incredible atmosphere and a warm and welcoming group of members, our group would eventually grow to become one of the largest and best known Manchester City OSC branches outside the UK.

After The Mad Hatter shut its doors, we moved to Amity Hall in Greenwich Village in 2018, where we’ve been ever since.

Known for our charity work, we have proudly raised over $135,000 for charity, including City in the Community and New York Common Pantry. Due to these efforts, the New York Sky Blues officially became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2019.

We also hope we can serve as a welcoming committee for City supporters visiting New York. Over the years, the New York Sky Blues have become the place to be for locals and tourists alike; we have welcomed many who have worn a City shirt, including Mike Summerbee, Paul Dickov, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Tueart, Paul Lake, Edin Dzeko, Aleks Kolarov, Vincent Kompany, Shaun Wright-Phillips, and Pablo Zabaleta—just to name a few—as well as famous faces such as Ricky Hatton, Liam Gallagher, Billy Duffy, and Jason Manford.

If you are ever in New York and a match is on, be sure to join us at Amity Hall… all Blues are welcome! We are also on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X (formerly known as Twitter), and YouTube, so give us a follow. C’MON CITY!

“Great night in NYC. Met loads of top Blues… some ex-pat Mancs, some NYC natives, but ALL passionate.”

— Paul Lake, former Manchester City player
