  • The New York Sky Blues are the official New York City chapter of Manchester City’s Official Supporters Club. Founded in 2007, we are North America’s oldest (and largest) City supporters club branch. We are also a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization due to our charitable and fundraising efforts.

For more information about us and what we do, please click the About tab at the top of the page.

  • Unless otherwise stated, we watch all matches at Amity Hall, at 80 West 3rd Street in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.

For information about food, drinks, specials, and everything else, please click here to visit Amity Hall’s website.

  • Yes, we meet at Amity Hall Downtown, located at 80 West 3rd Street, for every single match, regardless of when it is or what competition it is, unless otherwise mentioned on our social media. If we can show it on TV or streaming, we’ll be there!

The bar is always open half an hour before kickoff.

  • Amity Hall Downtown is easy to get to via the subway; the closest subway station is West 4th Street–Washington Square, which serves the A, B, C, D, E, F, and M lines. The 6 train’s Astor Place Station and R and W trains’ 8th Street Station are both roughly an 8-10 minute walk away.

If you are coming from New Jersey, the 9th Street PATH Station is a short walk away.

For more information, please see the map on our Contact Us page.

  • The Mad Hatter, our home for nine years, closed its doors in 2018, and we’ve been at Amity Hall ever since.

  • Amity Hall is an all ages establishment, so all Blues are welcome! (Please note that per New York City law, anyone under the age of 21 cannot drink alcohol or sit at the bar proper.)

  • Unless otherwise posted, all Blues are welcome to watch with us, regardless of membership status.

The only exception is for big matches such as the Champions League Final, where priority is given to active, paid members. Please stay tuned for any and all information on our various social media pages for those events if and when they come up.

Please see the Membership page more information on how to become a member for the 2024/25 season.

  • No reservations are required, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to sit at a table, however, we recommend you get to Amity Hall as early as possible—especially for big matches. The bar is always open half an hour before kickoff.

  • Amity Hall’s downstairs area is wheelchair accessible thanks to a wheelchair lift, with seating and restrooms.

  • For big matches where Amity Hall might end up at full capacity, we work with other bars in the area that will take any overflow. Please stay tuned to our social media pages for any announcements if such an occasion arises.

  • Membership is open to anyone around the world, but please bear in mind that starting with the 2024/25 season, we will now only be allowed to request match tickets on behalf of local members living in the New York/Tri-State area: New York City, Long Island, Westchester, northern New Jersey, and Connecticut.

We highly recommend any non-locals to look for your nearest Manchester City OSC branch here—especially if they are looking to request match tickets.

  • We are proud to be a diverse supporters club in a diverse city, and we aim to have a safe, inclusionary, and welcoming environment for all.

All Blues are accepted and welcomed in our midst, no matter their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, or anything else. We do not tolerate or condone discriminatory behavior, harassment, and/or bigotry of any kind, on any level. This includes—but is not limited to—racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, ableism, and classism.

Additionally, we do not tolerate hateful chants and/or songs about or referencing disasters and/or tragedies that affected rival clubs. It is not banter, it is not funny, and we hold no quarter for it.

If you ever feel unsafe for any reason and want to report an incident, please don’t be afraid to let us know, either by telling us in person, by email, or by direct messaging us via social media.

We take any and all reports seriously.

  • Fans of other clubs are allowed to watch, as long as they know that Amity Hall is our home and will therefore be predominantly filled with City supporters. We ask them to be respectful of City and our supporters, and to respect where they are, just like one would if they were a neutral sitting in a supporters’ section of a stadium.

Anyone who does not will be asked to leave.

Due to space limitations, only Manchester City supporters will be allowed in for bigger matches, like the Manchester Derby, the FA Cup Final, and the Champions League Final, with active paid members having priority.

  • If you feel sick or under the weather, whether it’s COVID, a cold, or the flu, please do not risk the safety of others and stay at home. If you think you have any symptom, stay at home. If you live with or have been in contact with someone sick or under the weather, stay at home.

  • We do, and all proceeds go straight to our charity efforts.

Please click the Merch tab at the top of the page to see what’s available, and for pricing.

  • Since our inception, we have proudly raised over $130,000 for numerous charities, including City in the Community and New York Common Pantry. Due to these efforts, we officially became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2019.

Apart from merch, charity auctions, and special fundraising events, we primarily raise money through our trademark halftime 50/50 raffle, in which half the winnings go to the winner, and the other half goes to our charity efforts. Tickets are $5 for one ticket, and $20 for five.

In the 2023/24 season, we proudly raised $25,975.13 for charity and hope to best that number this season!

For more about our charity efforts, please click the Charity tab at the top of the page.

  • Starting with the 2024/25 season, we have a new ticket request policy.

Due to the massive increase in global demand for game day tickets, we are only allowed to request on behalf of local members in the New York/Tri-State area (New York City, Long Island, Westchester, northern New Jersey, and Connecticut). This new change comes directly from Manchester City and applies to every Official Supporters’ Club branch around the world. Additionally, you cannot request tickets through more than one OSC branch.

Starting with the 2024/25 season, Manchester City will require every member requesting tickets through the OSC to have a separate Matchday Membership, which can be purchased through the club for a fee of £35 per season. We unfortunately cannot process any ticket requests without a corresponding Matchday Membership.

Here is the new ticket request process for all matches, starting in the 2024/25 season.

    1. When Manchester City gives us a game order window, we will email that time frame out to all current members. Tickets can only be ordered in the game ticket window—not before or after. Be aware, City usually gives tight windows and do not allow exceptions.

    2. Members can request tickets for any match, home or away, for any competition, by emailing us. Members can make requests only for themselves—no exceptions—but they can request more than one ticket, provided that everyone in your party is a current, paid member of the New York Sky Blues.

    3. If allocated, each supporter will receive an email directly from Man City asking them to pay for their ticket. As mentioned above, a separate Matchday Membership is required to purchase tickets through the OSC.

    4. Once the supporter receives their link, they have 48 hours to pay. Failure to pay within this time frame means the ticket will be withdrawn. (Again, no exceptions.)

    5. Once paid, the supporter will receive a purchase confirmation.

    6. The tickets will then be sent directly to the Supporter either as a Mobile Ticket, a PDF, or mailed as a Paper Ticket.

Before requesting tickets, please make sure that your Cityzens account details are correct, specifically your mailing address, mobile phone number, and email address, as City have made it absolutely clear that they will not be held responsible if a supporter’s details are incorrect, which could potentially lead to your tickets to not arrive.

  • We take cash, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, and credit card.

  • Although some of our members support NYCFC, we as a club only support Manchester City.

  • Thanks—we think it’s pretty great, too. We put it on Spotify for all to enjoy.

  • Staying for the week? We asked our members for recommendations of their favorite things to do in New York.

    • You can’t go wrong with a museum, but they can be pricey, so be sure to check for discounts or free days. Our favorite museums are the Met, MoMA, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Whitney. Some museums are pay-what-you-want, but only at the counters in person, so we suggest looking in advance.

    • There are free summer movie events hosted in various NYC parks in every borough throughout the summer. Click here for the full schedule.

    • If you want to go atop a skyscraper, we suggest Top of the Rock. Not only is it more affordable than the Empire State Building, but the view is arguably better. (Plus, if it’s good enough for Oasis’ ‘Standing on the Shoulder of Giants’ album cover, we reckon that it’s good enough for you!)

    • If you want another skyscraper view, try One World Observatory. Located atop One World Trade Center, it has a great view of New York Harbor, and an elevator ride to the top that has to be seen to be believed.

    • For a great view of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Statue of Liberty, and New York Harbor, hop on the Staten Island Ferry. You will have to loop back, but you can get two amazing views, all for free—no tickets needed! (Be aware of scammers trying to sell tickets.)

    • Central Park is a must, but we highly recommend checking out The High Line. Built on an abandoned elevated freight rail line, this is easily New York’s most unique park.

    • If the weather is nice, we recommend crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring DUMBO from there… especially the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

    • There are always concerts going on in New York, so it's always worth looking around to see who's in town while you're visiting.

  • We tried to keep this list within a ten-block radius of Amity Hall, but we’re happy to give more recommendations, regardless of location; don’t be afraid to ask us via social media!

    • Joe’s Pizza has some of the best pizza slices you can get in Manhattan. There are a few locations, including the original one, just a few blocks away from Amity Hall. (Bear in mind that it's cash only.)

    • For a proper pizza pie, John’s of Bleecker Street is one of the best in Manhattan. No slices here… this neighborhood classic has been making crispy pizza with thin crust the traditional way, with coal fired ovens and fresh ingredients. This is as delicious and old-school as it gets.

    • Mamoun’s Falafel is one of the best cheap eats in NYC. There are a few locations around the city, including the original one, located two blocks from Amity Hall. (Bear in mind that it's cash only.)

    • Saigon Shack is a Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood that’s affordable, reliable, and most of all, delicious.

    • If you want to try a smash burger, go to 7th Street Burger, with a location just around the block from Amity Hall. Their burgers are as simple as it gets, letting the quality of the ingredients do the talking.

    • For Chinese food, a neighborhood favorite is Auntie Guan’s Kitchen, which specializes in northeastern Chinese cuisine.

  • We tried to keep this list within a ten-block radius of Amity Hall, but we’re happy to give more recommendations, regardless of location; don’t be afraid to ask us via social media!

    • McSorley’s Old Ale House is quintessential “old New York.” It’s brimming with history that nothing hanging on its walls has been changed since 1910. They have only two kinds of beers: light and dark. Can’t go wrong with that!

    • Peculier Pub is one block away from Amity Hall and a favorite amongst our members. This dive bar has an extensive selection of beers from all over the world and a great atmosphere.

    • If you want to visit a speakeasy, The Garret West sits above a Five Guys not too far away from Amity Hall. Just enter the Five Guys and head upstairs. It features great cocktails, a massive skylight, and a cozy, laid back ambiance.

    • Located in the former space of the historic Gaslight Café, a main hangout of the Beat Generation and music venue where Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, and more played in the 1960s, The Up & Up is a craft cocktail bar worth checking out.

    • A favorite amongst our regulars, Swift Hibernian Lounge is an Irish pub with one of the best pints of Guinness you can find in New York, so much so that Esquire Magazine named it one of the Best Bars in America in 2017.

    • One of New York’s best-kept secrets is Blue & Gold Tavern, an East Village classic. Fittingly named after the colors of the Ukrainian flag given the neighborhood’s rich Ukrainian history, this old-school, family-owned dive bar has affordable drinks, friendly staff, a great jukebox, a pool table, board games, and a great neighborhood vibe.

You can also look for any discount codes at BroadwayBox.com. Save your money on all the fees from buying online by going to the theater’s box office in person and showing them the code on your phone.

We also recommend you check out this link for information about lottery and rush tickets.

“The atmosphere is great when watching the match—the fans all turn up. I had an absolutely amazing time.”
